We are James and Mary. Thank you so much for giving us the chance to share about our lives with you. We hope this photo blog will help you see how much love we have to give and how eager and excited we are to expand our family.
We have been married for almost six years. Our marriage is happy and solid. We love each other deeply and truly are best friends.

Three years ago we were blessed with our son Jack. Parenthood has been the happiest and most fufilling experience we have ever had. We cannot wait to welcome another precious child into our family.

We live in our dream home which is nestled in the heart of our city in a unique historic arts district. We have a huge yard to run and play in, oak trees to climb and a backyard swimming pool.

Most of our neighbors are young families with children. We all look out for each other and have neighborhood events at least once a month.

Mary: I am 35 years old with blonde hair and blue eyes. I consider myself outgoing, optimistic, honest, fun loving and empathetic.

I love to laugh, play with Jack, go to our local zoo, vacation at the beach, swim, read, cook out and most of all, spend time with my family.

James: I am 41 years old and I have black hair and brown eyes. My friends and family call me "Jimbo". I consider myself to be artistic, musical, kind, creative, caring and laid back.

My favorite things to do are play guitar, work in the yard, cook out and spend time with my family. Being a Daddy is the best thing that has ever happened to me.

Jack is three years old. He has blonde hair and brown eyes. Jack is a happy, funny, affectionate little boy. He is very excited to have a baby sister or brother.

Jack's favorite things to do are play at our neighborhood park, swim, mow the lawn with Daddy, read books, play intruments, dance and play with our beloved chocolate lab, Bessie.

James' parents, "Marmie and Bud", live close by. We love spending time with them and usually see them at least once a week. They are terrific grandparents and are so excited and supportive about our plans to adopt.

Mary's mother, "Grandma", lives across the street. We see her every day. She has been an elementary school teacher for 40 years. Children are her passion so being a grandmother is her favorite thing in the world. She can't wait to have another precious grandchild.

We are very close with our brothers and sisters and try to see them as often as possible.

They love being aunts and uncles.

Our family vacationing in Colorado.

Both of our families support us 100% as we hope and pray to expand our family through adoption.

Excited about being a BIG BROTHER!

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for considering us. We hope that our photos have helped you get to know us. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your baby.
With much respect and admiration,
James and Mary
